"Roadcase" Becomes Regal Entertainment's 1st Country DVD Premiere Event

   Los Angeles: When Kenny Chesney wanted to find a way to let his fans see "Roadcase: The Movie" the same as his friends got to -- on a big screen in a real movie theatre -- the man who sold over 500,000 copies of his brand new When The Sun Goes Down in its first week (debuting at #1 on Billboard's all-genre Top 200 and Country Album charts) decided to team with Regal Entertainment for a promotion that would bring the behind-the-scenes faces and places of his Margaritas'n'Senoritas Tour to movie theatres in 32 markets across the country. So One Night Only -- Monday, March 8 -- several hundred lucky fans in each city can go to the movies with Kenny Chesney.

   "I did the 'premiere' as a way of having a party and inviting everyone who'd been a part of last year's tour -- which was far too many people to have in my house!" says the affable East Tennessean with a laugh. "But when we started looking at everyone up on the big screen, it kinda got me... all the personalities and talent that go into making something like Margaritas'n'Senoritas work. I loved letting everyone see themselves, their family or their friends like that -- and then I realized there was one group of people I really love that weren't getting to see what we saw: the fans! They're every bit as much a part of this movie, this music, these tours as we are... And I wanted them to get to see themselves up on the big screen, too, 'cause as it says at the beginning of 'Roadcase': 'This is for the fans...'."

   Margaritas'n'Senoritas was the third biggest total ticket seller of the year according to touring industry bible Pollstar -- behind Bruce Springsteen and the Dave Matthews Band -- and this one-night-only opportunity to see Kenny as you've never seen him before, lets fans look behind the lights and the stage at the man who's the Academy of Country Music's Top Male Vocalist. And they'll be teasing moviegoers with :15 and :30 second spots running before movies in Regal Entertainment Theatres in 32 cities for the evening of "Kenny Goes To The Movies" -- along with lobby screens, posters outside and a presence on the Regal events web-site at www.RegalCM.com.

   And in classic Kenny fashion, it's not just roll-the-DVD -- which will be commercially available March 9 after selling well into the 5 figures from his website over the holidays -- Kenny will be coming in live via satellite to welcome the fans... to show "Roadcase"... to play a few songs acoustic for everybody coming to share the premiere with him... and then to roll a music only version of "Back Where I Come From: One Night at Neyland," the award-winning Beth McCarthy-directed special capturing the 67,000+ homecoming concert at UT's football stadium. They will also debut a special "Old Blue Chair" video- and possibly roll the beach-combing "When The Sun Goes Down" video, shot in Miami with Unkle Kracker.

   With Guitars, Tiki Bars + A Whole Lotta Love -- brought to you by St. Croix's island original Cruzan Rum -- set to kick-off on March 17 in Houston, Chesney's looking at a long fun run of doing what he loves
