Clearing Up Kenny's Confusion
In A Deep Sweep, The Recipe Finds Its Way Into Vanity Fair, Jane, US & More

Anywhere There's Guitars & Tiki Bars: It's not the kind of question that
makes the world stop turning, but given the heated debate over just exactly
what construes the now demi-infamous Cruzan Confusion -- the cocktail created
in the islands on the night Kenny Chesney and tour mate keith urban did a
commando tour kick-off in a tiny tropical bar -- the reigning Academy of Country
Music Top Male Vocalist decided it was time to get definitive. So after much
wrangling and a little taste-testing, the Cruzan Confusion makes it "official" --
and to celebrate, the Caribbean distiller is publishing the recipe in all the
magazines Kenny's fans tend to favor.

"It's gotten so bad my Momma and sister can't pick up a magazine in the
beauty shop or a doctor's office without seeing it," laughs the easy-going
15-million-seller. "They've seen it in Jane and US and Vanity Fair, In Touch. Last
year my Grandmother told me she was getting sick of me! Now my Mom and sister
are telling me they're afraid to open a magazine for seeing it! I just laugh. "

For the record, a Cruzan Confusion as poured that evening is every flavor
Cruzan Rum makes, but in the interest of simplicity -- and as Kenny says
"people's budgets" -- the recipe has been streamlined since then. As the man whose
nearly triple platinum When The Sun Goes Down debuted at #1 on the Billboard
all-genre Top 200 chart with sales of close to 600,000 units says, "We do ours
frozen: so you blend this with a bunch of ice, but a lot of people drink it
up and chilled or over ice. Either way, it tastes a lot about the way the
islands make you feel."

To make an "official" Cruzan Confusion, you take 1 part Cruzan Coconut, 1
part Cruzan Mango, add pineapple juice and miz. According to the ads from
Chesney's sold-out tour sponsor-- which are blanketing news racks right now --
you might also want to "Add A Whole Lot of Love." A good call, since that is the
main order of Chesney's good vibe summer tour, which closes out its tenure
with keith urban and Dierks Bentley and gears up for the outdoor sheds with
Rascal Flatts and Unkle Kracker following the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Currently gracing the cover of Country Weekly with his self-penned "Road
Diary" and "Day In The Life" features, Chesney's having a ball with this
year's tour. "After Neyland Stadium. After the pressure of getting the record
done. After setting up When The Sun Goes Down, it feels awesome to be out there
with the people again, getting back to where the music meets the fans! As often
as we can, we're firing up the Gator and taking a run through the parking lot,
high five-ing people -- because as I said in an interview yesterday, 'The
whole experience of coming to see us starts three hours before the 1st note of
music's played. If you wanna understand this tour, come to the parking lot.
You'll be anything BUT confused about what's going on at our shows."

Look for Chesney and Unkle Kracker to reprise their 6 week #1 "When The
Sun Goes Down" on the Academy of Country Music Awards, live May 26 on CBS.
Nominated for Entertainer, Top Male and Song of the Year, it could be a very big
night indeed.
